I'm an artist living in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, near the Susquehanna River, an abandoned church and the tracks of a freight train line. I work in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking and Sculpture. I studied Painting and received my BFA from Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, outside of Philadelphia. While at Tyler I studied with Stanley Whitney, Richard Cramer, Margo Margolis and other amazing professors. I received my MFA in Painting from the University of Washington. At that institution as well, I was blessed to work with some incredible people. However through it all, in my bones I have always been a Tyler Painter. After graduating I moved to Korea. In the ensuing years I have lived in Queens, Chattanooga and Nashville. My artwork is intertwined with my experiences in both natural and urban landscapes. I also grapple with the History of Art and the role of the Artist in the 21st century.
