I'm an artist living in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, near the Susquehanna River, an abandoned church and the tracks of a freight train line. I work in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking and Sculpture.
I studied Painting and received my BFA from Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, outside of Philadelphia. While at Tyler I studied drawing and painting with Stanley Whitney. Stanley's instruction and mentorship had a tremendous influence on my career as an artist. I received my MFA in Painting from the University of Washington and while there I met the artist Jeffry Mitchell who continues to be a wonderful inspiration.

Another very valuable time in my development occurred when I was selected to be a part of the Fall 2007 Selections Exhibition at the Drawing Center in New York called "Non-Declarative Art". The exhibition was curated by the artist Luis Camnitzer and through working with Luis, I was able to view my art in an entirely new way that still influences my artistic development to this day.
